BIOGRAPHY

Having grown up in its shadows it is easy to take Mount Diablo's majestic presence, its beauty, strength and resilience, for granted.  From a young age, it became my beacon of light.  Without fail, seeing its peaks in the distance is always a comfort.  Taking pictures in my own backyard quickly progressed to encompass everyplace I visited.

Being one of the lucky few who have been able to fuse my passions - law and photography - I am a legal secretary and forensic photographer, with a degree in Political Science/Criminal Justice from Chico State University.

Always seeking new places and experiences, I photograph landscapes, wildlife, architecture and people on the street.  Isn't it astonishing to have the ability to suspend a single moment in time to share with everyone!  Our surroundings are ever-changing; my goal is to seek the beauty, intricacies and ever-present details that are so often overlooked.

People say I am keenly observant and aware, and have an eye for detail.  I believe the "Art of Seeing" is a photographer's most valuable skill.
